How can I get my results?

The results of the TCF reliably position candidates at one of the six levels (from level A1 to level C2) of the Council of Europe's scale.

The results are sent to the approved centre in which the candidate took the TCF, within 2 weeks (for centres in France) and within 3 weeks (in other countries) of receipt of the examination papers by the CIEP.

The procedure is slightly different for the electronic TCF, taken on a computer. Candidates are provided with a provisional marks sheet as soon as they have finished the test. They receive an official certificate of results within the same time periods as for the standard version of the TCF.
